Birthday boys
April 7, 2006 - Today both
Chester and Casey
are 1½ years old, which corresponds to about 45
human years. To celebrate this I threw a small
party in their honour. While us humans enjoyed coffee and tea with
apple-pie and "soesjes", the rats got a
ratty biscuit each. Of course they also got a lot of (female) attention,
which they seemed to appreciate even more than the biscuits.
My mother brought them a
couple of cherry tree branches, which I will probably put in their
cage tomorrow after I've cleaned it. The
new cage itself, by the way, was my own
birthday present for them.
