July 11, 2007 - Two days ago I've discovered a lump
on Dylan's right side, just before his hind leg.
It was already pretty big, so I took him to the
vet that same day. I agreed with
the vet that the lump should be removed, and this morning I returned Dylan
to the vet's.
Just before noon I got a call that the operation was
successful. However, I coudn't come to collect
Dylan just yet, because his temperature was
still too low. Fortunately it rose again shortly after, and just like Casey
a month ago I took Dylan with me to work, so
I could monitor him carefully. When I got home I prepared my
hospital cage for him, where he will remain
until he has recovered enough to be rejoined with the
others in the big cage.
Update: Lab results
July 13, 2007 - Today the lab results for Dylan's
tumour came in. It was a benign mammary tumour, and it was removed
complete, so Dylan should be "clean"
again. :-D
