October 14, 2007 - This morning while getting
dressed, I took Pancho with me upstairs.
Lefty is still recovering from his
injury, Dylan has
a cold, and Chester &
Casey are simply too
old, so it was just Pancho and me this time. When I took Pancho
upstairs when he was young, he was never really at ease, but this time he
clearly enjoyed it.
After running around for a bit in the hall and in the
bathroom, Pancho settled down in a pile of dirty shirts which I used as
bedding in my hospital cage. The shirts
probably still smelled like rats, so Pancho must have felt right at home.
Mind you, Pancho still has a lot to learn: instead of washing the clothes,
he started washing himself. It would seem I will have to do his dirty
laundry for him, again.
