Goodbye Uisce
June 6, 2011 - I'm sad to have to report that this
afternoon Uisce was put to sleep. Not that there
was anything wrong with him, but his health had been slowly deteriorating
for a few months now, and today I decided that it was his time.
Uisce has had a long, healthy life. Come to think of it, I
think he's the first rat to never have been sick even once. Still, with his
2 years, 9 months, and 22 days Uisce is not my oldest rat ever (that is
still Chester with 3 years, 3 months, and 3
days).
Goodbye Uisce, you will be sorely missed. Not just by me,
but also by your son Dino, by
Elvis, and probably most of all by
Kraken, who is now the last of the older
generation.
