Welcome Quintis & Q
January 5, 2012 - On New Year's Eve
Quintis & Q started
their journey from the rattery where
they were born to their final destination: me. First they moved up to a
location nearer to me, together with their brother Quillian, where they
stayed a couple of days, and enjoyed the company of their younger
"cousins" from Ratcity's R2 nest. This afternoon I picked them up
there, and after a short trip by car they arrived at their temporary new
home: my old Ferplast Jenny cage.
They didn't seem intimidated at all by the
"long" journey, nor by their new surroudings, and immediately
started to explore most of the cage. However, after about 20 minutes or so
they had apparently gotten tired, and now they are fast asleep underneath
the picknick table (inside this catty toy
box).
Meanwhile Elvis, obviously
smelling trouble, climbed out of the big cage and
unto the couch to see what's going on. However, he and
Dino will have to wait at least a couple of days
before they get to meet the new boys. I'm sure they we'll give them a very
warm welcome... To be continued!
