Visiting hours revisited
January 9, 2005 - I hear that they are still people
who believe rats to be filthy, scary or even dangerous creatures. Of course
I find it hard to believe someone would think that. Poor them!
Fortunately my friends are not so narrow-minded: My father
went with me to see Chester and
Casey when they were
still at the rattery; my sister and my
brother-in-law went with me to pick them
up at the rattery; my mother and my stepfather came by for tea and to
meet the boys just a few days after they moved in; one of my colleagues
visited me at home just to meet my rats; a friend of my came by to see them
(and less importantly me as well); today my father also visited me just to
meet the boys, eventhough he was not feeling too well (nothing too
serious).
